Describe a meaningful gift you have given to someone.
You should say:
- what the gift was
- who you gave the gift to
- why you chose that particular gift
and explain how the recipient reacted to the gift.
Sample Answer:
A meaningful gift that I once gave was a handcrafted photo album to my best friend on her birthday. I carefully selected memorable moments we had shared together and printed the photos to create a personalised album. I chose this gift because it allowed us to reminisce about our cherished memories and celebrate our friendship. Her face lit up with joy and nostalgia when she received the gift. She laughed and cried as we flipped through the pages, reliving those beautiful moments. She expressed her gratitude and mentioned how much the gift meant to her.
It was heartwarming to see her reaction and the emotions it evoked. The photo album served as a tangible representation of our bond and shared experiences. It brought us even closer and reminded us of the value of our friendship. Witnessing her heartfelt reaction made me realise the power of thoughtful and meaningful gifts in strengthening relationships.
